Dear Friend,

Whether you are new to the community or have been here since birth, we want to introduce you to Roseau Community Church! We are a friendly church offering a total ministry to the family and we provide a good balance of spiritual and social activities.

Our church family would like to meet you and extend a warm welcome within our friendly atmosphere nurtured in the spiritual ground of the Christian faith. Our regularly scheduled activities include Sunday School for all ages (two seperate classes for adults!), Sunday morning worship as well as Wednesday evening services most weeks.

Then there is a Missionettes program for girls and Royal Rangers program for boys. There are numerous adult Bible studies, Women's Ministries and Men's Ministries. And, sometimes we get together just for fun! We also have an active Youth Group who meet weekly for Bible study. They are in charge of the monthly family night service and have a myriad of other activities throughout the entire year.

We encourage you to visit us for a service or other activity soon. We think you will be inspired and encouraged by the activities you share with us.

Jared was raised in Roseau and graduated from the High School in 1995.  Then, graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN (now Bethel University) with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies in 2001.   After graduating, he worked for Teen Challenge and volunteered as a Youth Pastor at St. Paul City Church.  Later, Jared and his wife Alisa moved to Helsingborg, Sweden as missionaries with Sport For Life.  Upon returing from  Sweden, Jared began pursuing his Master's of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN.  In 2008, Jared was hired on at Roseau Community Church as the Associate Pastor. 

Jared is currently involved with developing our youth ministry program, Impact Student Ministries.  He teaches weekly lessons to our Jr. and Sr. High teens, works with the teen small group called Implings, and develops and trains student leaders.  Besides the youth, he also teaches an adult Sunday School Class and fills the pulpit as needed.  

Neil has been a member of the RCC since 1968. He has been a board member for many years as well as being a Sunday School Teacher for most of the years since 1968.

Neil and his wife ReNae, children Jon (Janelle), Angela and Laura are all active members and very involved in various activities at RCC, especially in the music and education ministry.

Neil has been a High School Business Education teacher at Roseau High School since 1968. At the present time, he is semi-retired; still teaching part time.

We are blessed to have him a part of our staff and church.

 David Johnson

David is a charter member of the Roseau Community Church and has been a member of the Church Council for over 50 years. He taught Sunday school for many years. He has a true servant's heart, for many years he would pick up kids from Malung to bring them to and from Sunday school.  He and his wife Eleanor have been married for 63 years!  They are a true blessing and great examples of Christ's vision for his servants.

We are blessed to have him a part of our staff and church.
